Its teams collect, process, and analyze laboratory and biological data flows.<\/p><p>Given its international scope, IBBL receives a variety of data formats and structures. To effectively manage and integrate this data into its information system, IBBL needs an enterprise application integration (EAI) solution capable of centralizing all internal and external data flows within a unified platform.<\/p><ul><li>An EAI capable of managing all types of data flows<\/li><li>JSON, HL7, CSV, XML<\/li><li>A clearer and more structured Information System (IS)<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-755a4d6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"755a4d6\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae22bc3 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"ae22bc3\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-996dd3c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"996dd3c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Ariane Assele-Kama, head of the IT BIS (Business &amp; Interoperability Solution) team, is involved in standardizing the biobank\u2019s information system.<\/p><p>\u201cWhen I arrived at IBBL, my primary mission was to replace the laboratory flow management system. To achieve this, I aimed to formulate an IT strategy for a standardized, robust, and interoperable information system. Prior to acquiring Enovacom\u2019s interoperability platform, we did not have a standard system to exchange data with our external partners. This EAI solution normalizes and standardizes data flows so that internal applications can interpret the data without the need for custom specifications. We have a clear understanding of roles within our information system, with the EAI serving as the central element around which components such as microservices, endpoints, and handlers gravitate.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;text-align: var(--text-align)\">This solution brought more clarity to our information system architecture. For example, I can now create unique external flows to deposit my data in a unique location for various partners.
