Enovacom makes its first appearance at the Las Vegas CES2019

The CES – Consumer Electronics Show – is the trade show all about the latest technological innovations from around the world.

The Enovacom team will see you there for the very first time as part of the FrenchTech Pavilion (Brittany, France) among the HealthTech delegation brought together by SATT Ouest-Valorisation.

Insight on the French Health Data Hub

Patient data is now being generated faster than knowledge about health care. The French Health Data Hub’s ambition is to capture, store and structure the huge amounts of data being generated by patients and provide the tools to help collective intelligence benefit them, research institutes and government health agencies.

After the Villani report, the French President announced he would be creating a ‘Health Data Hub’ as one of the salient points of the French Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy. As such, on June 12, 2018, the Minister of Solidarity and Health launched a mission to prefigure this health data exploitation platform which led to the publication of a roadmap for the operational implementation of the ‘French Health Data Hub’.

ENOVACOM is a pioneer of Healthcare Data Warehouses and has been collaborating with Rennes University Hospital on the ‘eHOP’ project since 2015.

Enovacom invited to CES2019 for its eHealth project ‘eHOP’

Since 2015, Enovacom has been working with Rennes University Hospital and the LTSI laboratory on the ‘eHOP’ project – the first powerful tool for processing and using patient data – to provide clinicians with everything they need for studies and research projects. The warehouse contains every piece of computerized data about patient care. This includes everything from hospitalization and consultation reports to drug prescriptions. For example, over 27 million documents have been collected for 1.2 million patients at Rennes University Hospital. From Big Data to predictive medicine, it’s all just around the corner…

Enovacom was chosen to continue using this innovative tool in the six Grand Ouest University Hospitals, as well as in two cancer treatment facilities in the not so distant future. This covers a catchment area of over 10 million people.

And to top it all off, a joint LABCOM LITIS laboratory was born

A partnership between the University of Rennes 1, INSERM, ENOVACOM and Rennes University Hospital managed to get funding from the National Research Agency for the LABCOM LITIS Laboratory, a.k.a the Laboratory for Interoperability Processing and Integration of Big Health Data. Directed by both Professor Marc Cuggia and Cyril Garde, co-founder of Enovacom, its aim is to promote research and development, and make transferring innovative technologies from the public to the private sector easier.
